Father Dean and Father Castiel work together, investing supernatural occurences, trying to help people along the way. Castiel’s faith in God is steadfast, but working with Dean isn’t exactly pleasant. The young priest is brash and constantly questions God’s will. Cas would’ve given up a long time ago, but there’s something about Dean that’s simply… irresistible.

Dean: Seriously Cas, why is it that you have such a hard time trusting anybody?

Castiel: People leave us behind. God is the only one who never abandoned me, Dean.
